The Russian invaders have banned the movement of civilians between Hola Prystan and the Kinburn Spit from August 15 to 26 to prevent information leaks about the powerful movement of enemy equipment and troops.

This was reported by Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command South, at a briefing at the Ukraine-Uninform media center, commenting on the occupiers' ban on the movement of civilians between Hola Prystan and the Kinburn Spit from August 15 to 26.

"This ban is more related to the geographical feature of this area, because it is the approach to the islands, the Dnipro Delta, where the occupants feel very anxious, where they are trying to maneuver sabotage reconnaissance groups, so we are conducting a very powerful counter-battery fight, destroying from one to five boats they maneuver on every day. As for this area and these dates, it is probably related to the rotation of units, because there will be a movement of equipment, they will reorient their fire in the direction of the Kinburn Spit to support those units and to shift the attention of the Defense Forces to that direction, because they are suffering very significantly in other areas. In this sense, they can take such policy measures to influence the local population, restricting access so that there is no leakage of information about the number and volume of enemy forces, directions of movement," noted Humeniuk.
